With the domestic campaign entering its final stretch and international football set to take centre stage, the Spanish national team have one final hurdle before the World Cup. During this international window, 'La Roja' will face Serbia (27th March) and Egypt (31st March) in two International Friendlies. These fixtures represent the final opportunity for fine-tuning ahead of the summer’s showpiece tournament, and as expected, Luis de la Fuente's latest selection has sparked plenty of discussion.

De la Fuente has sidestepped the goalkeeping debate by naming all four shot-stoppers currently battling for three World Cup berths. Among them is Joan Garcia, who receives his maiden senior call-up and will look to push for minutes during the camp. In defence, the full-back options remain largely consistent, though Cristhian Mosquera has been drafted in to replace Dani Vivian.

In the middle of the park, with Mikel Merino, Fabian Ruiz, and Pablo Barrios all unavailable, Aleix Garcia is the notable omission. The primary benefactor of these absences is Carlos Soler, who has been in scintillating form for Real Sociedad. Further forward, Ander Barrenetxea and Victor Munoz provide fresh attacking impetus, stepping up in the absence of Nico Williams.
